Wow, we made it! We had a long wait for our bags- we hadn’t realised there was a separate place to collect oversized bags 🤔
The weather has been kind do we got the tent up with no rain. We met the lovely team who will be looking after us and were busy cleaning the truck ready for the trip.
After a recovery period along with soup from the campground cafe, we set out to Reykjavik city centre, a short bus ride. The main explore is tomorrow today is just about eating drinking and finding out how to become Icelandic in 60 minutes (a comedy show)
We got lucky with a happy hour to get drinks at UK prices!! Normal price around £9. a pint
The show was a humorous take on Icelandic culture, thirteen pints you need to understand to become Icelandic.
